Award Summary
Current members of the New Jersey Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance (NJAHPERD) have the privilege of submitting nominations, including self-nominations, for each award offered by the Association. These awards cover distinctive contributions to the profession and are presented annually at the NJAHPERD Annual Convention Awards Ceremony. Click the individual boxes above for details and the application for each award.
Nominations for deserving professionals will be accepted until October15th. Eligible nominees will be required to complete an application portfolio and submit it by the specified due date. Upon recommendation of the Awards Committee and the approval of the Executive Board, award recipients will be notified of their award status by February 1st. Award recipients will be honored at the Annual Convention Awards Ceremony.

Award Sponsors

NJ Manufacturers (NJM) is the proud sponsor of the Driver Education Teacher of the Year Award and joins NJAHPERD in honoring excellence in driver education in the state of New Jersey. The Driver Education Teacher of the Year will receive a laptop from NJM Insurance Group.
